"The Miracle Oil"
Green Tea Oil is a botanical oil-soluble Catechin (CoCo Green®), which is extracted from green tea base powder through a globally-patented* manufacturing process, combining Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Squalane from Olive Oil, and natural Vitamin E.
The Birth of Oil-soluble Catechin - CoCo Green®
The present invention provides a concentrated solution form of tea Catechin which is completely soluble oil. It provides maximum utilization of the antioxidant properties of the Catechin.
Catechin is a type of tannin found in tea leaves. It is known for its anti-oxidant, anti-bacteria, fat-burning and odour-elimination properties. CoCo Green® is the first ingredient in the world that has successfully blended Catechin into oil-soluble format without using surfactants or emulsifying agents.
What sets green tea apart is the way it is processed. Green tea leaves are steamed, which prevents the EGCG compound from being oxidized. Then the leaves are dried and especially grinded into powder. The oil is extracted and blended with medium chain triglycerides of coconut oil to get the Oil-soluble Catechin - CoCo Green®.
What Makes Green Tea So Special?
Green tea comes from the leaves of the white-flowered tea plant, Camellia sinensis, a bush native to Asia. These tea leaves are less processed than black tea and contain rich sources of antioxidants. By contrast, black and oolong tea leaves are made from fermented leaves, which result in EGCG being converted into other compounds that are not nearly as effective.
The secret of green tea lies in the fact it is rich in catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG is a powerful anti-oxidant. It is known for its anti-bacteria, fat-burning and odour-eliminating properties. Oil-soluble Catechin has the ability to penetrate deep down the skin's lower layers to restore moisture and elasticity, as well as replenish skin lipids which are essential to prevent skin water loss as compared

*Aren't Japanese people are the smartest people in the world? They have been drinking green tea since young, Japanese people live longer too don't they?*
RESEARCH BRIEF
The major active ingredients of green tea are polyphenolic compounds, known as catechin. Catechins of green tea leaves account for about 25% of dry weight, including epigallocatechin gallate (ECCG), epigallocatechin (ECG), epicatechin gallate (ECG) and epicatechin (EG), where EGCG accounts approximately 50% of the total amounts of catechins in green tea. Studies claim that the Catechin of green tea has antioxidant properties that can help prevent cancer, and it can increase endurance in exercise by improving fat metabolism.
Coconut oil can be classified as nutraceutical product. It is rich in medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), primarily the lauric acid (C12), and a type of fat that is proven to fight many viruses including herpes, bacteria, fungi among others. Coconut oil is rich in MCT, which provide an immediate source of fuel and energy, and enable the human body to metabolize fat efficiently. Coconut oil has a high affinity for hair proteins and, because of its low molecular weight and straight linear chain, is able to penetrate inside the hair shaft and carry nourishment along with it.
*Now you know why Indian people like to use coconut oil on their hair and they have the healthiest and shiniest hair!*

We are also the first in the market to develop catechins in Oil-Soluble form. All other green tea based beauty products in the market are using water-soluble catechins. Oil-soluble catechins has proven to be much more effective than water-soluble form as the former has the ability to penetrates deep into the skin whereas water-soluble evapores immediately upon application, renders it ineffective.
